Ep10: Dancing with Grief: Oreos, Counselling, and Finding Meaning #cryapint #legacies

In this beautifully tender episode, the Thriving crew dance with grief.  In this era of the pandemic, “loss and grieving go hand in hand.” Dave and Bob welcome the awesome Katie Gillespie to the show to discuss ideas connected to grief and deepening our collective practice of grieving.  The three discuss who their dads were to them, and how their passing was central to their identity development and ideas of grieving.  They discuss the power object, ritual, and meaning-making practices for grieving and whether there is a beyond of grief.  They end reflecting on what the wisdom of grieving can help support in moving in the world of pandemic and dystopia.

Huge thanks to In Heaven by Drake Stafford for our intro song, A Time for Action by Kennedy for our outro, and the prolific and enigmatic Joe Shine for the thumbnail art.
